Native Youth and Family Advocate Program - Counselling and Support for Families Involved in Child Protection Issues

Provides basic counselling, guidance, support, advice, referrals, education, and advocacy for First Nations, Indigenous families, and clients involved in child protection issues and other family matters.
The Indigenous Family and Youth Advocate provides counselling, guidance, support, referrals, education, and advocacy for First Nations and Indigenous families and individuals involved in child protection matters and other family-related concerns. The Advocate may also coordinate services for families or individuals experiencing distress and works collaboratively with local reserves and community service providers to respond to the needs of families and children.
