Community Fund for Emergency Food - Delta

Assists low-income Delta residents who are in crisis situations by providing emergency food, food vouchers, and bus tickets.
Deltassist is not a Food Bank but rather a stop-gap for emergency situations. In addition to emergency food or bus tickets, clients will also be given information on other resources for food available in the community, and be informed that if they need to access further assistance they will have to do so from these other resources.
Occasional requests are received for Community Fund assistance beyond food or transportation. If the request falls within the giving guidelines of Community Partners, the client may be asked for permission to share their name, contact information, and details of the request with a relevant community partner, such as a church or service club.
Please note, assistance cannot be provided for ongoing monthly expenses such as rent, utilities, or phone bills.
