Family Services’ Caring Neighbours Program - New Westminster / Richmond

Provided by Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV)

Offers free groups and community kitchens in Richmond and New Westminster that give newcomers, parents, and seniors the opportunity to engage gain new life skills and make new friends.
Volunteers in the community donate presents, gift cards and/or food to the program and personally deliver gift baskets to families in need. Families and seniors wishing to benefit from the program must register - see contact information below!
You qualify for the program if you:
  • live in New Westminster
  • are not registered with any other Christmas program this year
  • have one or more phone numbers where you can be reached
  • have one or more children living with you under the age of 18 or younger)
  • are a senior (55+)
Please Bring:
  • Photo ID for all the adults in the household (age 19 and older)
  • Care Cards for all the children in the household
  • Proof of your address
  • Proof of income. One of the following per adult
  • Latest Tax Assessment
  • Latest deposit slip from Government Assistance
