Emergency Assistance Program - Financial Assistance for Health Expenses

A program that helps offset the costs of health related expenses.
The Emergency Assistance Program helps fill the financial gap that can be created when costs related to an illness or disability start adding up.

Important Eligibility Criteria:The Emergency Assistance Program is for Full Members of the BC Métis Federation only (Associate Members are not eligible). If your membership has expired, please renew it before applying for assistance.

How to Apply: All applications for assistance must be submitted through the online application form below. The BCMF health team will review all applications received and will follow up with applicants directly for any additional required information and to provide updates on the status of an application.

Full members are able to apply for financial assistance for costs related to essential health equipment, medical supplies, or travel costs for medical appointments.
