Student Health and Wellbeing

Provides medical care and counselling for registered UBC students through a full range of primary and specialist health, preventive, and mental health services.
Offerings include immunizations, reproductive health, specialist services and referrals, individual and group counselling, and culturally responsive wellness programs to support students managing academic challenges, stress, and personal well-being, all accessible in-person, virtually, or by phone.

Student Health Service: Offers primary and preventative healthcare, including diagnosis and treatment, sexual and reproductive health, immunizations, mental health support, and specialist referrals.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Open to 6:00 pm Wednesdays; Open Saturdays during the September – April academic year (closed statutory holidays).

Mental Health Care: Provides support for mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, identity, relationships, and academic challenges. Includes individual counselling, group therapy, and culturally responsive programs.

Wellness Centre: A drop-in peer support space offering education on health topics (e.g., sleep, nutrition, stress, sexual health), harm reduction services (naloxone kits, fentanyl test strips), and a Sexual Health Shop.
