Wraparound Program for Youth at Risk - South and East Vancouver

Provides support for at-risk youth ages 13 to 17 to manage challenges and stress through individual and clinical counselling, and a wraparound team of youth workers.
The program offers at-risk youth, ages 13-17, holistic support to enhance youths’ strengths and resiliency to manage the challenges and stresses that they face. The program provides opportunities to engage in pro-social activities, develop healthy attachments to their schools and communities, and learn to establish and make progress toward goals. This program also offers support for parents and other primary caregivers of youth clients.

Parents and other primary caregivers, teachers or school liaison officers may refer qualified youth who are at risk of involvement with negative and criminal activities. Such youth may be experiencing, or at risk from:
  • Poor school and peer associations
  • Experiencing negative emotional and physical behaviour
  • Substance misuse
  • Mental health issues
  • Violent behaviour
  • Being isolated

How to join:
Visible minority youth, ages 13-17 who live in East or South Vancouver can self-refer or be referred.
Office hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible hours available to meet the needs of the client.
