First Link Dementia Helpline (1-800-936-6033):
A province-wide service for people with dementia, their caregivers, family, and friends. The Helpline assists individuals in building the confidence to maintain quality of life when facing dementia.
Alzheimer Resource Centres:
Located throughout the province and offering information, educational opportunities, support groups, and the ability to talk directly with a knowledgeable team member. Books and videos can be viewed on-site and a variety of print resources are available to take home.
Print resources:
A variety of downloadable educational brochures and fact sheets for people with dementia, their families, caregivers, and anyone who is concerned about dementia.
Resources in other languages:
Information about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias is available in French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Persian and Punjabi.
Recorded videos:
Regular webinars are hosted on a range of topics related to living with dementia. You can access a selection of videos from previous webinars divided by theme.
