Services May Include:
- Case manager
- Client education
- Medication management
- Support and education for families and caregivers
- Complete assessment of symptoms and physical functioning
- Treatment of problems in living and other mental health issues
- Additional comprehensive services may be offered; please inquire with individual program
- Program is for those experiencing their first episode of psychosis living in the Island Health Authority area
- Depending on the area, EPI programs are offered for youth up to 19 years of age, young adults between 13 - 35 years of age, and adults aged 19+
- A referral is required. Patients/clients should contact their local Mental Health & Substance Use team, or call the MHSU Navigation Link at 1-888-885-8824 for help navigating Island Health substance use, harm reduction, and mental health services. Providers see below. (Note: this is not a line for health professionals to iniatiate a referral. Line is for patients/clients to receive information and navigation support)
