Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation - Addiction Treatment

Turning Point is a substance rehabilitation program open to anyone over the age of 19 with a desire to become free from chemical dependency.
Turning Point Recovery Society is provides bed-based and outreach addiction recovery programs and services in BC. Turning Point currently offers bed-based services for adults in Vancouver, Richmond, the North Shore and Squamish. Programs are typically 3-5 months in duration and are licensed under the Community Care and Assisted Living Act in BC. The Outreach and Community Counselling Program provides no-cost counselling and referral services, overdose prevention programs and aftercare.

A referral is required. Referrals are accepted from any source, including the following:
  • Community Health Centres
  • Detoxification Centres
  • Community addiction services counsellors
  • Residential treatment facilities
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)
  • Clergy
  • School counsellors or academic advisors
  • Self-referrals


Cost varies. Please call for assessment of fees. Program fees can be financed in a variety of ways:
  • Private payments by clients
  • Employee Assistance Programs
  • Ministry of Social Development (Income Assistance, Employment Assistance)
  • Vancouver Coastal Health
