Individuals wishing to register as new clients with the Greater Vancouver Food Bank for weekly food access can email or call to set up an appointment (See contact below). On-site registration appointments are available at the Burnaby and Vancouver locations. Please note that walk-in registrations are not accepted.
The food bank also provides baby essentials to families with children under 18 months (formula and baby food) and under 36 months (diapers). Children aged 2 to 6 years may receive an additional healthy snack bag once per month, and seniors aged 65+ are eligible for a seniors’ food pack.
To register:
- A piece of government-issued identification (i.e., driver’s license, passport, Care Card, etc.) for each household member.
- Proof of address (i.e., rental agreement, utility bill).
- Care cards or any government-issued ID for all of the dependents living with you (both adults and children)
