Youth Supported Independent Living - For Youth Recovering from Mental Illness and Addictions

Provided by Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) - Lower Mainland Branch

Provides youth with safe and affordable housing, while improving independent living skills and supporting recovery from mental health and addictions.
Program participants identify and work towards goals they view as vital to their recovery. Program participants are supported to access community resources, maintain their housing, develop budgeting and grocery shopping skills (taking into consideration their limited incomes), and identify their early warning signs that, if responded to, can help them to prevent future mental health crises.

Participants are encouraged pursue both work and educational opportunities.
