Programs for Youths and Adults with Autism (Ages 13+) & their Families

Provides various programming for adults with Autism.
CAN programs for Autistic youth & adults (ages 13+) focus on providing mental health, leisure and rec, social, life skills and employment opportunities.

Programs are offered both virtually (accessible anywhere in BC) and in-person (Metro Vancouver, Fraser Valley, Nanaimo, Victoria, Kamloops & Kelowna).

Mental health programs include workshops and support groups led by clinicians and Autistic facilitators.

Leisure and rec programs include opportunities like paddling, fitness, hockey, rock climbing, ropes courses, board games and more.

Life skills programs include opportunities to develop cooking, transit, grocery shopping and community access skills.

Employment programs and services include opportunities to develop resumes and interviewing skills, volunteering and work experience placements, pre-employment training and more.

CAN membership is required to access in-person opportunities and select virtual programs. Membership fees are $25/year per individual on the autism spectrum.

Eligibility requirements: CAN recognizes that receiving a formal diagnosis can be a barrier for Autistic youth & adults to access programs & services. A formal diagnosis is not required.
