Wellness and Support Programs

Offers holistic support rooted in Indigenous teachings, this program helps individuals address challenges and restore balance and well-being within their lives and communities.
The Aboriginal Front Door Society provides essential services that are culturally grounded, including:
  • Food Truck Program: Provides culturally inspired meals, fresh coffee, and snacks. It is a warm and inclusive space grounded in Indigenous values of care, respect, and community spirit, ensuring everyone feels welcome and nourished.
  • Emergency Warming Shelter Program: Provides critical refuge during severe weather conditions. Grounded in Indigenous values of care, respect, and togetherness, it offers not only physical warmth but also a sense of belonging and support for vulnerable individuals.
  • Personal Bin Storage Program: Provides individuals with a safe and secure place to store their belongings, reducing the risk of loss or theft. This service offers peace of mind and supports those facing housing instability by safeguarding their essential items.
  • Drop-In Support Centre: Offers a safe and welcoming space where community members can connect, access support, and participate in meaningful activities.
The programs are offered at various locations in the Lower Mainland, but most programs are held at the office at 384 Main Street.
