Provides affordable and accessible dental services.
With the support of administrative staff and a full-time dentist, services are provided by volunteer dentists, hygienists, assistants, and students. The Dental Clinic offers preventative and urgent services to patients with little or no dental coverage; it is the most accessible and affordable option to address basic dental needs for people in the Lower Mainland.

Treatments offered at the 455 East Hastings Location:
  • Screenings and Assessments: exams (including emergency), cancer screenings, prescriptions, X-Rays (including Panoramic), and CT Scans
  • Hygiene (cleanings, oral hygiene instructions)
  • Cosmetic treatments (teeth whitening)
  • Dental Fillings (metal or white) and sealants
  • Endodontic treatments (simple and complex root canals)
  • Simple/surgical extractions
  • Major restorative treatments (inlays and onlays, crowns, bridges, and veneers)
  • Straumann or Astra implants (for select cases), and bone grafts
  • Full and partial dentures
  • Nightguards
  • Sedations: Gas (Nitrous / Laughing Gas), IV sedation (for selective cases), Triazolam and Lorazepam
  • Basic Orthodontic Services with Clear Aligners (SureSmile - similar to Invisalign)
  • Limited Services with Registered Specialist
  • Basic gum surgeries
  • Limited Children (Pediatric) Services with Pediatric Dentist - Specialist.
  • Limited Prosthodontics Services with Prosthodontist Dentist - Specialist.
  • Limited Oral Surgeons Services with Oral Surgeon Dentist - Specialist
  • Counselling Services (dental trauma, fear, anxiety)
  • Minor Dental Lab Services

  • Exams, dental check-ups, X-Rays (including Panoramic) and Cephalometric
  • Hygiene (cleanings, oral hygiene instructions)
  • Dental Fillings
  • Simple Extractions
  • Dental health promotion and community outreach
  • Limited Children (Pediatric) Services with Pediatric Dentist - Specialist.
Mobile Clinic:
  • Screenings and Assessments: exams (including emergency), cancer screenings, X-Rays, and digital intraoral scans/images
  • Dental health promotion and community outreach


Cost for each procedure varies from person-to-person, with set prices lower than the BC Dental Fee Guide. For further financial information (Internal Fee Guide), please contact the front desk directly. An initial exam will range anywhere from $35 - $50, with written estimates given to patients detailing further required procedure(s) and the cost associated.

Referral: A referral is not required but can be provided.

Both clinics (Dental Clinic & IEY) are by appointment only (no walk-ins). Please contact the office to book an appointment. To access the clinic, call or email to book an appointment. Currently, the office is booking 2-3 months in advance.
