Older Adult Day Programs - Jackson Lam and Chieng’s Adult Day Centre

Provided by S.U.C.C.E.S.S.

Provides structure services and activities to adults living with physical and/or cognitive impairment and want to keep living independently as long as possible.
S.U.C.C.E.S.S operates two adult day centre, the Jackson Lam Centre and Chieng's Adult Day Centre. The following services are offered:
  • Health monitoring, which includes taking blood pressure, blood sugar level, body weight and wound dressing, etc.
  • Delicious and nutritious oriental meal. Dietitian service is available if required.
  • Exercise groups and physiotherapy service is available if required.
  • Recreational activities such as baking, crafts, chess, singing, etc. Field trips include optional bus tours and scenic drives (if weather permits).
  • Health education and promotion, as well as caregiver support.
  • Therapeutic social and recreational activities in a protective group setting.
  • Additional services such as hairdressing are available for a fee.
  • The number of days you can attend this program is based upon your personal needs and service availability.

Eligibility:
  • Senior can be male or female and 60 years or older
  • Senior can be mobile or in wheelchair
  • Senior can be independent or requiring assistance in eating
  • Senior can have dementia but not aggressive

$10 per visit (not including transportation fees)
