Epilepsy/Seizure Online Support Groups

Provided by BC Epilepsy Society

Offers online support groups for individuals living with epilepsy.
Programs Include:
  • Epilepsy Friends Forever (EFF) Ages 6-12: Epilepsy Friends Forever (EFF) was introduced as a way for children and youth Ages 6-12 living with epilepsy to have fun and relax with their peers, with whom they share common experiences. Group is held on the last Thursday of every month at 3:30 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email Sonia at sonia@bcepilepsy.com for more information.

  • Epilepsy Friends Forever Ages 13-17: Online friendship group for children and youth living with epilepsy aged 13-17. The group is held the last Friday of every month at 3:30 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email Sonia at sonia@bcepilepsy.com for more information.

  • BC Epilepsy Parents Network (BCEPN): Online support group for the parents, guardians and caregivers of children living with epilepsy. Group is held on the last Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email Sonia at sonia@bcepilepsy.com for more information

  • Online Peer Support Group: Online peer support group for people living with epilepsy. The group is held the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email Jas at jasdeep@bcepilepsy.com at least three business days prior to the support group taking place to receive the link to join.

  • Family Peer Support Group: Online peer support group for everyone affected by epilepsy, including people living with epilepsy and their families, friends and loved ones. The grop is held on the second Wednesday of every month at 5:30 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email deirdre@bcepilepsy.com for more information.

  • Peer Group: This group is for people living with epilepsy and is held on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 pm. Attendees must contact the BC Epilepsy Society staff at least three business days prior to the meeting to register. Please email peer_support@bcepilepsy.com to register.

  • Online Family Peer Group: This group is for anyone affected by epilepsy, including people living with epilepsy and their families, friends and loved ones (This is an adult-oriented meeting). Group is held on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM. Attendees must contact the BC Epilepsy Society staff at least three business days prior to the meeting to register.   • Young Adults Peer Support Group: Online peer support group for young adults living with epilepsy, aged 18-30. The group is held on the last Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM. If you are interested in attending, please email deirdre@bcepilepsy.com for more information.

  • Online Youth Network Ages 6-12: This groups is for children and youth living with epilepsy, aged 6-12. Attendees must contact the BC Epilepsy Society staff at least three business days prior to the meeting to register. Please email sonia@bcepilepsy.com to register.

  • Online Youth Network Ages 13-17: This groups is for children and youth living with epilepsy, aged 13-17. Attendees must contact the BC Epilepsy Society staff at least three business days prior to the meeting to register. Please email sonia@bcepilepsy.com to register.

  • Online Parents Network: This group is for the parents, guardians and caregivers of children with epilepsy. Group is held on the last Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM. Attendees must contact the BC Epilepsy Society staff at least three business days prior to the meeting to register. Please email sonia@bcepilepsy.com to register..
