- Summary Advice Program: Provides free legal advice to individuals on a full range of legal issues including family, immigration, criminal, mental health, and civil law (such as debt, employment, welfare, and housing matters). Please note that the SAP cannot assist with emergency issues and does not provide any services (e.g., representation, notarization, draXing, etc.) As we are a non-profit organization, we rely on volunteers and appointments are booked 2 to 4 weeks in advance, when available. In order to book a 30-minute free consultation with a volunteer lawyer, clients may call or email the SAP at 604-878-7400 from Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 4:30 pm,.
