An Information and Referral centre that helps connect seniors with the programs, services and resources they need. For age 55 and over.
The centre is currently offering the following in-person activities:
  • Drop-in support services
  • Information and Referral program; please call the number below to book an appointment
  • Tech support
  • Group activities, information sessions, and workshops
  • $5 lunches on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Free Wifi
Trained volunteers:
  • Provide information about various federal, provincial, municipal and community programs and services available to older adults.
  • Assist with filling out forms and accessing online resources.
  • Support with problem solving and self-advocacy.
  • Speak multiple different languages.
411 can also aid with seniors’ income benefits such as Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Old Age Security (OAS), Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS), BC Bus Pass Program, Disability benefits, including the federal Disability Tax Credit, Medical Services Plan (MSP), Fair Pharmacare Plan, and Housing applications.

Offers an income tax clinic from the beginning of March until the end of April for low-income seniors or people on disability. Can file taxes throughout the year.

Offers a legal clinic. Low-income seniors can meet with a volunteer lawyer for summary advice and will drafting.

Membership is $10 per year.
