Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs (BREATH) - North Vancouver

Provides support for individuals with chronic lung problems to maintain healthy lifestyles
Offers comprehensive programs of education, exercise and social support for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) clients and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) clients and their families.

Operates a five-week education/exercise program offered three to four times a year. Also provides a maintenance exercise program that runs year-round. Sessions run twice weekly (Tue/Thurs 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM) for 8 consecutive weeks. After program completion, participants are encouraged to continue to exercise on their own, and/or participate in other, suitable programs available in the wider community (e.g. at seniors centers, recreation facilities, etc). All participants are requested to return for a three month follow up class post-program completion.
Respirology exercise program runs continuously every Tuesday to Thursday from 12:30PM to 2:00PM in the Lions Gate Hospital gym.

A doctor must provide a referral with copies of requested tests before appointments can be booked for the next available assessment program
