Supports, Programs and Resources for People with Multiple Sclerosis

Supports and programs for people recently diagnosed with MS, living with the disease for some time, or close to someone affected by MS.
This service is for those who have been recently diagnosed with MS, have been living with the disease for some time, or are close to someone affected by MS. Programs and resources from the MS Society are curated to help manage both the daily and longer-term challenges that MS may present. The MS Society of Canada provides support and services to people who are:
- Living with a diagnosis of MS or an MS allied disease
- Waiting for a diagnosis with respect to MS or an MS allied disease
- Close to a person with MS or an MS allied disease, such as family and friends
- Caregivers to a person with MS or an allied MS disease
- Healthcare professionals, employers, institutions and students

Programs and Services:

    - MS Knowledge Network is a hub of knowledge and navigators who provide consistent, quality MS information and support for anyone in Canada. Available Monday to Friday via email or telephone.
    - 1:1 Peer Support Program is a telephone and internet-based program for individuals living with MS and for caregivers or loved ones of people with MS, looking for someone to talk to who has had a similar experience.
    - Legal and Self-Advocacy Support vary by region, but with the intention to improve quality of life for people living with MS by increasing access to legal and advocacy supports.
    - Young People with MS provides resources for young people as well as their families; from scholarships to pediatric clinics, in addition, to support specifically for parents.
    - Caregivers encompasses so many individuals; all with a very important role in the lives of those with MS. The MS Society provides resources and support for caregivers of all types.
