The society provides affordable housing for aboriginal individuals and they also run their own culturally focused medical centre.
The society's primary focus is to build, own and operate affordable housing. However, they also now provide a broad range of services that improve social determinants of health such as: Lu’ma Medical Centre; the Aboriginal Patients’ Lodge; Community Voice Mail; the Aboriginal Children’s Village; and Aboriginal Youth Mentorship & Housing Program.
The Lu'ma Medical Centre provides culturally safe primary healthcare. The clinic is staffed with indigenous GPs and allied physicians, traditional healers, elders, mental health counsellors, social workers and nurse practitioners. Send an email to book an appointment.
